The Gourmet Roads between Camargue and Provence
4 Days/ 3Nights

• 1st Day: Arrival during the day at  Nîmes or d’Avignon TGV train station

  Welcome and transfer by car (type Mercedes 8 seats) air conditioned and equipped with microphone for the driver that is an English speaker guide. Transfer to your accomodation  (free day in order to discover the beauty and the style of your destination). Dinner in the Michelin starred restaurant of the Hotel.

• 2nd Day:

After breakfast, departure to Roquemaure and visit the Food & Wine Academy, a special place for meeting and exchange, located in the Castle of Clary, in the heart of the Lirac vineyard, this place is a world dedicated to the pleasure of the senses and to the gastronomy.

We propose to you an English tour of the old wine cellars of the Castel with an historical commentary followed by two hours of wine including a quick introduction to the wine tasting and the taste of eight different regional wines. Than you may continue with a Olive Oil tasting and discover the french AOC (Protected Geographical Indication). Free lunch. In the early afternoon your driver guide will take you to the Pont du Gard that is the highest of all Roman aqueduct bridges and one of the best preserved, an audio-tour will allow you to discover the Roman remains. Then the city of Nîmes will welcome you, a delicate balance between tradition and creativity to explore with complete freedom (free time for a sightseeing tour). Before you come back to the hotel, we suggest you to have a dinner at Alexandre restaurant  (2 stars Michelin) where the chef Michel Kayser will allow you to discover its cuisine that reflect the colours and the taste of the Mediterranean food. After dinner return to the Hotel and overnight. 

• 3th Day

After breakfast, today we propose you to discover the Provencal winemakers roads. You will visit the Provencal coasts, the villages of  Roussillon and Gordes and the winery "Côtes du Ventoux" with wine-tasting. Possibility to visit the Châteauneuf du Pape (visit & tasting), and the Rhone valley around the Chateau. After dinner return to the Hotel and overnight.

• 4th Day

For your last day in Provence, a visit to Avignon is necessary, discover the old town or take your time to wander around its streets, the palace of the popes, the shaded terraces, the mediterranean bars... Your guide driver will take you to the station of Nimes or Avignon. End of our services.

Accommodation for 3 nights + breakfast at the Hotel le Vieux Castillon **** L in a room catégorie tradition (European size bed 160 cm) – supplément of 51 euros/night per person (for an Italian size bed 180 cm) in superior. 

If you will choise  l’hostellerie le Castellas ***   sup  /   réduction of 40 euros  P/P   3   nights. If you will choise Château de Montcaud ****L / supplément of  124 euros P/P 3nights 
Restoration : 2 dinners « à la carte » drinks not included in the Hotel's restaurantsand 1 dinner at the restaurant Alexandre (2 stars Michelin) formule « à la carte » .
